1. ELIGIBILITY

Open to photographers worldwide aged 18+.

By submitting, you confirm:

- You own all copyrights to the photograph

- You have obtained necessary model releases for identifiable persons

- You grant New Vision Photo Award limited usage rights as per contest rules

2. ENTRY PERIOD

Submission opens: 15 October 2025
Submission closes: 20 November 2025
Winners announced: 30 November 2025

3. HOW TO ENTER

• Submit via official online form only

• File requirements: JPEG, max 5MB

• File naming: Surname_Title.jpg (e.g., Smith_Dawn.jpg)

4. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Digital files only

• No watermarks or signatures

• Minimal post-processing allowed

• Photo must be entrant's original work

5. JUDGING CRITERIA

• Creativity (40%)

• Technical quality (30%)

• Emotional impact (30%)

• Judges' decisions are final and binding

6. RIGHTS & USAGE

6.1. Entrant Retains:

• Copyright of submitted images

• Right to use images for personal promotion

6.2. New Vision Photo Award Receives:

• Non-exclusive royalty-free license to use submitted images for:

  • Promotion on social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)

  • Website content and online galleries

  • Press releases and media coverage

  • Exhibition materials and catalogs

  • Future marketing communications

• Usage period: Perpetual

• Territory: Worldwide

7. IMAGE REQUIREMENTS AND VERIFICATION

• AI-generated images are strictly prohibited. Only photographs captured with a camera are eligible.

• Traditional editing and post-processing (colour adjustments, contrast, cropping, black & white conversion, etc.) are permitted, as long as they respect the spirit of the contest and do not radically alter the authenticity of the captured scene.

• All finalists will be required to provide the original RAW file (or, if unavailable, the original straight-out-of-camera – SOOC – JPG file) of the submitted photograph within 48 hours of request for authentication and compliance verification.

• Failure to provide the original file will result in immediate disqualification from the contest, with no right to a refund of the entry fee.

8. WINNER COMMITMENTS

Winners must provide:

• High-resolution file (300dpi, min 3000px long side, 5MB)

• Original RAW file upon request

• Model releases if applicable

• Caption: max 400 characters

9. PRIZES

• 1st Prize: $800 + Feature

• 2nd Prize: $450 + Feature

• 3rd Prize: $250 + Feature

• 5 Honorable Mentions: Online Feature

10. LIABILITY

New Vision Photo Award is not responsible for:

• Lost, late, or misdirected entries

• Technical failures of any kind

• Unauthorized human intervention

11. GENERAL CONDITIONS

• Entry constitutes acceptance of all rules

• False information will void entry

• Taxes on prizes are winner's responsibility

12. JURY'S DECISION

The jury's decisions are final and unappealable. No correspondence will be entered into regarding judging decisions.

All claims must be submitted within 30 days of winner announcement.

14. DATA PRIVACY

By entering, you consent to:

- Storage of personal data for contest administration

- Receiving contest-related communications

- Public display of winning entries with credit

- Data retention for 24 months post-contest

- Right to request data deletion (where applicable by law)

15. PAYMENT TERMS

- Entry fee: $9.99 (non-refundable)

- Payment processed via Stripe

- Currency: USD

- Fees cover administrative costs

16. DISQUALIFICATION GROUNDS

Entries may be removed for:

- Copyright infringement

- AI-generated or significantly AI-manipulated content

- Images created with text-to-image generators

- Inappropriate or offensive material

- Violation of submission guidelines

By entering this contest, participants agree to these official rules and grant the rights specified herein. New Vision Photo Award reserves the right to modify these rules if necessary.
